Managing Bids on Municibid

If you have a proxy bid (sometimes called a maximum bid) on an auction and you wish to remove or lower this bid, you can do so by clicking the "Remove Proxy Bid" button on the page of the item. This will lower your bid amount to the current bid.

Accidental proxy bids are not unusual and may arise from misclicks or misunderstandings during the bidding process. Adjusting or canceling such bids ensures fair participation in the auction.

Conditions for Bid Cancellation

Municibid allows for a one-time courtesy cancellation of mistaken bids only if you are the sole bidder at the time of your request and no other users have placed bids on the auction. This policy ensures fairness by not disadvantaging other participants while offering limited flexibility for errors.

You can raise this proxy bid at anytime without affecting the current bid.

It is important to monitor your bids closely and double-check your entries to mitigate errors.
