Why is there an open invoice for an item I already paid for and picked up?

This explains why you may see an open invoice in your Municibid account even after paying for and picking up an item.

Municibid does not manage payments or invoices for all selling agencies. If you paid the selling agency directly at the time of pickup, they may not have updated the invoice in our system to show it as paid.

Some agencies choose to manage their own payments and are not required to use Municibid's invoicing system. Because of this, unpaid invoices from these agencies do not impact your account or your ability to bid.

If you need a paid receipt for your records, we recommend reaching out to the selling agency directly and asking them to mark the invoice paid.
