With the Auction Assistant installed, you'll have access to Auction Alerts, Nearby Auctions, and Item Scouts right from your browser.
Best of all, no Municibid account is required to use it. Your settings sync privately across your Chrome browsers using Chrome's built-in sync feature. No third-party servers and no extra accounts to manage.

Installing the Municibid Auction Assistant
1. Visit the Chrome Web Store here.
2. Click Add to Chrome.
3. Follow the prompts to install the extension.
Once installed, the Municibid Auction Assistant will be available from your Chrome toolbar.
Auction Alerts
Auction Alerts help you stay on top of auctions you're interested in.
Simply right-click on a Municibid listing and choose the option to create an alert. You'll receive desktop notifications:
• 1 hour before the auction closes
• 15 minutes before the auction closes
• 5 minutes before the auction closes
Each notification includes the current bid amount and time remaining.
Nearby Auctions
Looking for auctions close to home?
The Nearby Auctions feature lets you enter your zip code or use your current location to discover auctions near you.
You'll be able to:
• View nearby auctions on an interactive map
• See distance information directly on Municibid listing pages
• Quickly identify items that are worth the drive
Item Scouts
Item scouts automatically watch for listings that match your interests.
Create up to 10 scouts using keywords, categories, and price ranges. When a new listing matches your criteria, you'll receive a notification.
Whether you're looking for a specific vehicle, piece of equipment, or surplus item, Item Scouts help you find it as soon as it's listed.
