Can we offer an item to the highest bidder if it doesn’t meet reserve?

While users cannot directly delete a listing, there are processes facilitated through Municibid's support team to manage active listings effectively. The rationale for this oversight includes considerations about bidder inquiries and transparency in the bidding process.

Options for Managing Active Listings

Cancel and Move a Listing to Drafts

If you need more flexibility, you can request to cancel a listing and have it moved to Drafts. This allows for potential updates or future relisting. Simply provide the listing number and the reason for cancellation when contacting support. Once moved to Drafts, the listing will no longer be active but can be edited or permanently deleted at a later time.

Edit a Listing Moved to Drafts

For listings that have been moved to Drafts, you can access and make necessary changes before relisting or deleting the item. This option ensures that you retain full control over modifications without having the listing remain publicly active.

Please contact us with the listing number and the reason for removal and we'll be happy to assist.

When contacting support, make sure to provide:

  • The listing number for precise identification

  • The reason for the requested action (e.g., deletion or cancellation)

After submitting your request, the support team will notify you of the action taken and confirm once the listing has been updated or removed.
